In a unexpected partnership that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned practices and terrifying changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret group.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
