This is a large-volume pre-mixed that is packed with the tastes associated with Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a holiday party. Save the extra cordial you can use for brunch beverages, puddings, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
For the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place all the components inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, take off the heat and let it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into a clean bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it can be stored for about one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquids into one large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into a mixing glass containing ice, and stir lightly for one minute until cold. Filter into an chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and finish with a light spray with the mandarin essence above the glass.
